Mariana Newport is B.bright’s founder and lead researcher.
She was a third-culture kid for whom understanding cultural norms was a means to survival. Happily, this ability is central to good qualitative research. She opened B.bright to offer world-class consumer research rooted in deep respect and understanding of Brazilian culture.
She has experience in many sectors but big ones include skincare, alcoholic beverages, education and social networks. These days she spends a lot of time helping tech companies understand humans.
Prior to B.bright, Mariana worked at a number of innovative companies including Flamingo London, a qualitative research house, and FutureBrand São Paulo.
Mariana has a Bachelors in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of York (UK) and a Masters in Latin American Politics at the Institute of the Americas in London (UK).
